Terms of Service

By using TankPriser (web or mobile app) you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept the terms, please do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

TankPriser is a free service that displays current petrol and diesel prices from gas stations in Denmark. The service includes:

• Display of prices for Petrol 95, Petrol 98, Diesel and Diesel Premium
• Map view of gas stations
• Sorting by price or distance
• Filtering by fuel type and gas station chain
• Distance calculation to gas stations (mobile app)

TankPriser fetches price data from gas stations' publicly available APIs in accordance with Danish law (effective from January 1, 2026), which requires gas stations to publish their prices.

We do not guarantee that prices are always 100% up-to-date, as they are provided by the gas stations. Always check the price at the pump before filling up.

TankPriser does not require login or account creation. You can use the service anonymously. Your preferences in the mobile app are only stored locally on your device.

TankPriser is a free service. We do not charge for showing fuel prices. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions.

The mobile app may request permission to use your location. This is voluntary and is only used to:

• Find gas stations near you
• Calculate distance
• Sort by nearest first

You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. The app will still work, but cannot show distance or sort by nearest.

We strive to show correct and up-to-date prices, but we cannot guarantee:

• That prices are always 100% up-to-date
• That all gas stations are included
• That the service is available 24/7

TankPriser is an informational tool. Always check the actual price at the gas station before filling up.

TankPriser is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Incorrect or outdated prices
• Missing gas stations
• Downtime or technical errors
• Loss of time or money as a result of using the service

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer or copy the app
• Use automated scripts to scrape our API
• Overload our servers (rate limiting applies)
• Resell or redistribute our data

TankPriser uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

• Mapbox: Map display (see Mapbox Privacy Policy)
• Vercel: Web hosting
• Google Fonts: Inter font (web only)

We reserve the right to:

• Change or discontinue the service at any time
• Update these terms with 30 days notice
• Block access for abuse

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved under Danish law.
